Spicy Indomie Mi Goreng Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack Indomie Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy 
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ red chilli, finely sliced (optional, for extra spice)
  • ½ red bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ carrot, julienned
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Fresh coriander, for garnish
  • Lime wedge, for serving

Method:

  1. Cook the Noodles: Boil the Indomie Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving the seasoning sachets.
  2. Prepare the Stir-Fry: Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok over medium heat. Add the garlic, red chilli, bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked noodles to the pan along with the reserved seasoning sachets. Toss well to coat the noodles in the spicy seasoning.
  4. Fry the Egg: In a separate small frying pan, fry the egg to your preferred doneness (runny yolk recommended!).
  5. Serve: Plate up the noodles, top with the fried egg, and garnish with sesame seeds, chopped spring onions and fresh coriander. Serve with a wedge of lime for extra zing.
